Swarovski Crystal - What's In a Name?

Meticulously crafted in Austria to the highest quality standards, each and every Swarovski crystal bead is a true work of art. Each bead is precisely machine cut so that every bead is flawlessly consistent in size, shape, and slope. The crystals are made using a special compound, a heavily guarded secret formula, which gives them their trademark brilliance. In order to create the amazing sparkle, each bead is cut so that it has a hundred identical facets in several directions. To accomplish this, each direction of the reflected light has to be calculated by a computer, then it is simulated in 3D and finally converted into a control program for the complex cutting machinery.
